Philosophy of Supervision
As a virtual LPC-Supervisor in Texas, I believe that supervision is akin to healing. Both require empathy, trust, and vulnerability. I aspire to model such attributes in supervision so to strengthen alliance with the Associates that I serve.
About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (#72588 Texas) offering personalized and comprehensive supervision services to Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates in Texas. With a focus on ethical practice, professional development, and community care, I seek to create a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment for Associates to enhance their counseling skills and knowledge.
Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.
Healing is an act of communion. - Bell Hooks

My Supervisory Approach
Professional Growth
Professional growth and competence are at the core of my supervisory practice. I prioritize creating a supportive and reflective space where Associates can explore their strengths, areas of development, and overall professional identity.
Ethical Guidance
Ethical guidance is foundational to my supervisory approach. I provide a framework for ethical decision-making and support Associates in upholding ethical standards while navigating the complexities of client care and professional practice.
Community Care
Rooted in my decade long work as a community counselor, I incorporate the belief that healing and learning are individual and communal experiences. I encourage Associates to recognize the different communities their clients belong to and consider the role these communities may play on the clients' values, support systems, and overall wellness.
